Helen was born on June 24, 1926 to Jamela and David in Honduras. Helen married the love of her life, Joseph in 1946. Joseph passed away in 1995.

Helen is survived by her children, Fuad (Jeannette) of Apex, NC, Widad (Ibrahim) of Urbana, IL, Diana (Dominique) of Urbana, Lillian of Annapolis, MD, her sister, Olga of Maryland, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Helen was proceeded in death by her sons, Anton and Sami.

Private family services will be held Tuesday, October, 7, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Urbana, IL. Family and friends are encouraged to give their condolences to the family at St. Patrick Catholic Church Hall on October 7, 2025 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Helen was a homemaker and touched the lives of many, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Urbana. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
