CHAMPAIGN, IL- V. Hazel Wickman, 93, of Champaign, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 23, 2013 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, IL. There will be no visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Hazel was born April 3, 1920 a daughter of John Frank and Kate (Collins) Dougherty in Erwin, Tennessee. She married George Wickman on July 25, 1970 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Lovett-Porr(Brian) of Tyler, Texas, Paula Auth(Eric) of Champaign, IL and a son, Frank Buhrman(Theresa) of Champaign, IL; a step-daughter, Fran Van Antwerp of Springfield, IL, 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, and a sister, Betty Gortney of Richmond, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Linda Lou Tinker, four sisters and a brother.
