Harvey E. Barthelemy, 75 of Champaign, died at 10:52 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9 at Pennsylvania Ave. Baptist Church, 600 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Urbana 61801. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 8 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. Rich Gregory will officiate. Interment will be at the Danville National Cemetery.

Mr. Barthelemy was born on January 17, 1935 in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Ivan and Pauline (Rewerts) Barthelemy. He married Fern L. Noble on October 26, 1957 in Superior, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, daughters Joy Wiele, Elizabeth Brayboy, and Kathrine Bradley, son Kevin Barthelemy, sister Donna Barthelemy, five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Eldon and Eugene Barthelemy, and one sister Vonna Barthelemy.

Mr. Barthelemy was a school bus driver, member of Pennsylvania Ave. Baptist Church, and in the United States Air Force.
