Harold A. (Pud) Silver Jr. 88 of Urbana died at 4:33 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Champaign-Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy.

A memorial reception will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana.

Mr. Silver was born on July 21, 1927 in Urbana, the son of Harold A. and Dora A. Willard Silver Sr. He married Virginia Barcus on October 23, 1964 in Urbana, she survives.

Also surviving are six children; Tom Silver of Monticello, Neal Silver of Rantoul, Kem Broeker of Urbana, Kevin Broeker of Quincy, Andy Geung of Garland, Texas and Trudy Beaucamp of Fenton, Missouri, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandchild.

Mr. Silver was a salesman for Woodhouse Company. He also worked airport security at Willard Airport and was a Court Bailiff for the Champaign County Sheriff's Department.

He graduated from Urbana High School and Parkland College.

Mr. Silver was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II.

He loved his family.
