Harold Clements, 88, of Urbana passed away at 1:15 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Champaign County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana; The Rev. Tom Corum will officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Mr. Clements was born December 16, 1922 in Urbana to parents Miles and Elizabeth (Asherman) Clements. He married Patricia Motherway in Urbana on June 6, 1951; she survives. Also surviving are daughters; Cathleen Burkholder (Bill), of Champaign, Mary Ries (Mike), of Champaign, sons; David Clements (Cindy), of Normal, Bill Clements, of Atwood, Danny Clements (Laura), of Tuscola, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Irene Harnsberger.

After graduating from Urbana High School, Harold proudly served as a marine during WWII. He worked as a union electrician for the Local 601 I.B.E.W. for more than 30 years. Harold loved camping and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
