Obituary

H. Paul Lincicome, 97 of Champaign, formerly of Urbana and Philo, passed away at 2:35 a.m. at the home of his son and wife, Fred and Shirley Lincicome. Paul was born April 27, 1911 in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Andrew and Harriett Lundy Lincicome. He married June Gardner in Colchester, Ontario, Canada on December 27, 1935. She preceded him in death in March 2008.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers and two sisters. Paul is survived by all six of his children, Fred (Shirley) of Champaign, Dennis (Sheila) of Monticello, Christy (Ron) Cekander of Champaign, Anita Gardner of Mahomet, Becky (Bob) Gilbert of Urbana, Cathy (Steve) Martin of Vandalia, Ohio, also a total of fifty four grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Paul lived and worked in the Urbana area all of his life. He owned a service station for many years. He was president of Midstate Linen Supply, Inc. and founder of Denny's Laundry and Dry Cleaners that he owned and operated until his retirement.

Paul and the love of his life, June, were married for seventy years and enjoyed winters in Fort Meyers, Florida. He took care of June for thirty one years after she suffered a debilitating stroke at age fifty seven. His family and grandchildren were his greatest joy.

A private graveside service will be held. Funeral arrangements were completed by Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana.
