Glorian Ruth Hartman, 83, of Urbana passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Carolyn at 6:10 a.m. on July 6, 2016. She was surrounded by loving family and friends.

A private Graveside Service will be held at New Douglas Cemetery in Madison County.

Glorian was born on January 19, 1933 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of William and Helen (Travis) Freund. They preceded her in death.

On January 24, 1953 she married William L. Hartman, he passed away on May 19, 2004.

Glorian is survived by her children, Linda Hartman of British Columbia, Canada, William (Jody) L. Hartman III of Hillsboro, Dianna (Randy) Diamond of Morrisonville, IL, Carolyn (Carl) Townsend of Urbana, Sandra (Donald) Hanke of Tuscola, twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren. Her sister-in-law Marcella Jenkins of Witt, IL also survives her.

She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. Later on in life when it was just her and William she enjoyed spending time with him in their home in California. After William passed away she wanted to be closer to her children and moved to Urbana. When she couldn't take care of herself the greatest joy she had was moving in with her daughter Carolyn, who took care of her. Now Glorian is with the Almighty Father in Heaven along with William waiting for the time she is once again reunited with her children.

The family would like to thank Harbor Light Hospice for their R.N.'s, CNA's, social worker and chaplain.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Church or Harbor Light Hospice.
