Gloria Ann Grob, 84, of Champaign, passed away at 7:40 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Illini Heritage Rehab Center, where she had been a resident since June of 2011.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana.

Gloria was born in Urbana on September 13, 1931 to the late Sam and Marie (Fought) Hicks. She was the wife of the late Howard Wayne Grob. She was a devoted mother to the late David W. Grob, surviving son Russell A. Grob of Champaign and step-daughter, Debra Derebery of South Carolina. Gloria always had a smile and was the sweetest person; just knowing her touched our hearts. She was a loving mother, a devoted wife of fifty-eight years and a caring sister and aunt.
