Glen E. Black III 52 of Urbana died Monday, May 26, 2014 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Grace United Methodist Church, Urbana, Pastor Steve Lombardo will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana.

Glen was born on October 17, 1961 in Champaign, the son of Glen E. and Patricia Hubert Black Jr. He married Lynn Spies on August 17, 1985 in Champaign, she survives.

Also surviving are his mother; Patricia (John) Stoffel of Gifford, three daughters; Christine (Aaron) Corley of Orem, Utah, Aimee (Jordan McAuley) Black of Urbana and Stacy Black of Urbana, one sister; Michelle (Donald) Carley of North Canton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Glen was an Electrical Engineer at Ambitech Engineering, Champaign.

Glen was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 601; he loved photography, gardening, wood working and his children.
