Gladys Marie McCormick, 93 of Urbana, died at 10:30 pm Sunday August 19, 2018 at Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana,

Funeral services will be Friday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory,1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Rev. Brent Roberson will officiate.  Burial will at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview.

Mrs. McCormick was born February 22, 1925 in Urbana, the daughter of Austin Nicholas and Clara E. (Clark) Roberts.  She Married William L. McCormick on January 7, 1969 in Urbana and he survives.  She is also survived by a daughter, Deanna Williams of Champaign, a son, Richard "Rick" McCormick of Urbana and a sister, Ina Wooldridge of Champaign.  She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

Mrs. McCormick attended school in Somer Township and was a homemaker.  She and her husband loved to travel and did so for many years.  Later in life they lived in Savoy at Parkview Apartments and recently moved to Eagle View Senior Apartments in Rantoul.
