Geraldine Fosnaugh, 83, of Champaign passed away at 7:05 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Illini Heritage Rehab and Health Care Center. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Hospice Chaplain Tim Haworth will officiate. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.

Mrs. Fosnaugh was born June 11, 1929 in Rochester, New York to parents Iva Mae and Perle Thomas. She married Lester Wilson Fosnaugh May 29, 1960 in Bellflower, Illinois; he preceded her in death August 21, 2001.

Survivors include daughters; Lori Moseley (Norman), of Atwood, Melissa M. Bissell (Leigh), of Mahomet, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Geraldine was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Anita June Saunders and Patsy Thomas.

Mrs. Fosnaugh worked for more than 30 years as a Personnel Director at Target. However, her favorite occupation was working as a hand model while she lived in Chicago. Among other interests, she enjoyed playing cards and winning at the slot machines.
