URBANA, IL-  Gary E. Swim, beloved husband and dad, 76, of Urbana, Illinois passed away at 11:56 PM, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Gary was born January 16, 1943 in Champaign, IL a son of Earl and Myrl (Matthews) Swim.  He married Margie Riggleman on August 20, 1966 in Urbana.  She survives.  Also surviving are a son, Phillip (Linda) Swim of Urbana, and Kristi (Bobby) Scroggins of Thomasboro, IL; Two grandchildren, Earl (Cherrish) Miller of Thomasboro, and Brittany (Randy) Miller Seals of Thomasboro.  4 great grandchildren, Emma, Dawson, Evalynn and Isla,  2  brothers, Randy (Patti) Swim of Champaign, and Earl John Swim of Dewey, IL, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews also survive.
