Gail A. Williams, 64, of Champaign passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Rev. Richard McGuire will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 12:00- 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Gail was born in Sarasota, Florida on June 8, 1952 to parents Bennie C. and Ida Mae (Schrock) Mosley. On April 14, 1973 she married Steven Lee Williams in Champaign, he passed away on December 5, 2002. Also preceding her in death was her infant son, Matthew Steven Williams, her mother Ida Mae Mosley and her beloved dog, Megan.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Williams of Urbana, her father, Bennie C. Mosley of Urbana, her sisters; Debbie (Mike) Lingk of McKinney, TX, Sandy (Tim) Cook of St. Joseph, nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Daisy.

Gail was a 1970 graduate of Urbana High School and worked as a nanny and also a teacher at Kinder Care. Steven and Gail loved to travel and especially enjoyed the Smokey Mountains. She collected angels and Willow Tree figurines. Gail loved the color purple, dragonflies, butterflies and knick-knacks. She was a caretaker by nature and adored animals. The most important thing to Gail was her family and she is going to be greatly missed.
