Frank "Satch" Richard Miller, age 73, of Wildwood, MO, formerly of Urbana died at 5:43 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be at Renner-Wikoff Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2007, Majors James Frye, Robert Doliber, Benjamin Stillwell and John Turner will officiate. Interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Urbana where military rites will be accorded by Champaign VFW Post 5520. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at 9:00 a.m. on Monday preceding the funeral.

He was born August 9, 1933 in Reading, PA, the son of William Miller and Bessie Wentzel; both preceding him in death. He married Barbara H. Jarvis, December 18, 1954 in Champaign, IL. She preceded him in death on February 7, 1996.

He is survived by daughters, Debbie (Christopher) Kennedy of Wildwood, MO, Melanie (Steve) Hall of Urbana, IL, and Shari (Thomas) Koehler of Bolingbrook, IL. Surviving grandchildren are Heather Kennedy, Cameron Kennedy, Charity (William) Hall Moser, Joshua Hall, Zane Koehler and Summer Koehler. Surviving siblings are brother, Jake (Elaine) Miller of Whiting, NJ, sister Nancy (Dennis) Harris of Shillington, PA, and in-laws, Bill and Joan Warren of Champaign, IL. He is preceded in death by a brother, William Miller, Jr. and Johnny Jarvis, brother of Barbara.

Satch was a graduate of Pottsville High School in 1951 and was a deliveryman for Urbana Pure Milk Company later known as Prairie Farms Dairy. He was an avid Keno player, bowler and an Illini, Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
