Frank H. Mabry, 92, of Rantoul, passed away at 3:15 P.M. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Urbana Lighthouse Nazarene Church, 1808 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M., on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Frank was born in Gifford, on March 14, 1923 to parents Charles and Ida (Lambert) Mabry. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one daughter, five sisters, three brothers and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

On May 23, 1944 Frank married Eudora Followell in Boston, MA. She survives. Also surviving are their children, Jeannie (Danny) Everette of Shallowater, TX, Paulette (Gary) Slade of Champaign, Joan (Ted) Fox of Tilton, his sister, Zona Shaffer of St. Joseph, his brother, Charles Mabry of Oakwood, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

After he graduated from Champaign Central High school, Frank joined the United States Navy and served three years in WWII.

He was the Head Custodian at Champaign Unit 4 Schools for 33 years and is a member of the Nazarene Church. He loved to bowl, fish and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Frank's honor to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or to the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
