Francis Beardsley Kroha, 97, of Urbana passed away on Saturday morning, December 30, 2017 at Illinois Knights Templar Home (Accolade) in Paxton.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Urbana. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., at the church.

Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee with a graveside prayer service prior to committal in the cemetery chapel.

Francis was born on June 9, 1920 in Danbury, Connecticut, to Francis and Martha (Beardsley) Kroha, and was raised by his stepmother Martha Seaman Kroha after his birth mother's passing. His parents preceded him in death, along with siblings Thelma Emory, John Kroha, Vincent Kroha, David Kroha and Joseph Kroha.
