Francis (Hub) Hubbard, 90, of Urbana died 6:16 p.m., March 14, 2011 at C-U Regional Rehab Center. A celebration of life reception will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Windsor of Savoy, 401 Burwash, Savoy. Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Francis Hubbard was born December 15, 1920 in Biggsville, IL a son of Aden Eldon and Bessie Gady Hubbard. He married Geraldine (Jerry) V. Smith May 17, 1942 in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2000.

He is survived by a son Steve (Janet Patzer) Hubbard of La Mesa, CA.

Two brothers and a son, Scott Hubbard, preceded him in death. Mr. Hubbard graduated from University High School in Bloomington. He worked as a Customer Engineer for IBM. With an original, mechanical mind, Hub never met a machine that he couldn't improve.
