Francis Wayne Anglin, 89, of Ogden, died 5:45 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Rev. Jon Garlock, Rev. Dennis Anglin, and Rev. Donald E. Johnson II will officiate. Burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Urbana. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Thursday.

Francis Wayne Anglin was born December 16, 1918 in Savoy, a son of Charles Melbern and Lena Ursula McHatton Anglin. Francis Anglin married Eva Belle Hatter on February 3, 1938 in Urbana. She preceded him in death on March 1, 1990. He then married Betty Jeanette Hatter on November 18, 1990 in Cedar Grove. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons George Nelson Anglin of Deland, Rev. Dennis Alfred Anglin of Fithian, twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, four brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Francis served in the US Navy from May 1944 to November 1945. He worked as a service worker for the U of I O & M building for forty-five years and was a member of the Ogden Church of the Nazarene.
