Forrest Lee Hannah 84 of Urbana died at 1:59 a.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; the Rev. Robert Rasmus will officiate. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Township Cemetery, Mansfield. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hannah was born on July 7, 1926 in Mansfield, the son of John Olin and Iva Mae Jones Hannah. He married Helen Gene Melson on February 18, 1945 in Champaign, she survives.

Also surviving are three daughters; Janice Hannah of Tolono, Jacquelyn Hannah of Urbana and Jill (Philip) Norfleet of Monticello, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law; Jeannine (John) McKee and sister; Thelma Ruth Blauert.

Mr. Hannah retired as a garage foreman at the U of I.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II.
