Florence Joy Armstrong Kimberlin, 93, of Urbana died October 17, 2008 at Bayside Health and Rehab in St. Petersburg, FL.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana, with a visitation an hour prior. Rev. Dr. John Sims will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery Champaign.

Florence Joy Armstrong Kimberlin was born August 17, 1915 in Bondville, IL the daughter of J. Arthur and Susie Pfiester Armstrong. She married Walter M. Kimberlin in 1939 in Indianapolis, IN. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kimberlin is survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, two brothers, and one great granddaughter.

Florence Kimberlin was raised in Seymour and attended Champaign High School. She graduated from Burnham City Hospital School of Nursing in 1936. She was a member of Burnham Hospital Alumni, Retired Registered Nurses, and the Urbana Methodist Church.
