Florence L. (Sue) Holton, 82 of Paxton died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Paxton.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Danville National Cemetery, Danville, the Rev. John Davenport will officiate. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, Paxton, the Rev. Bill Denny will officiate. There will be no public visitation, Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holton was born on December 4, 1924 in Pomona, Kansas, the daughter of William and Roxie Alcorn Crocker. She married George J. Holton on December 16, 1943 in Payola, Kansas; he died on March 16, 2003.
Survivors include two sons; Mark Holton of Arlington, Texas and Greg Holton of Tucson, Arizona, two daughters; Gail Heintzelman and Rhonda Haile both of Paxton, five brothers; John Crocker of Washington, Jim Crocker of Arizona, Pete Crocker, Claude Crocker and Charles Crocker all of Topeka, Kansas, two sisters; Lavera Bruner of California and Tiny Greeno of Bloomington, Colorado, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Holton was a secretary. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star and various church organizations. She loved gardening, sewing and cooking.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arcadia Unit of Heartland Healthcare Center.
