URBANA, IL- Florence Adeline Bloom, 89, of Urbana, passed away at 12:45 A.M., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Helia Healthcare of Champaign.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 23, 2010, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Burial will be held at Bailey Cemetery in Tolono, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bloom was born June 10, 1921 in Gifford, IL, a daughter of Stephen and Mable Jeankins Parker. She married Lawrence Elmer Bloom in September of 1947. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, a son, Stephen, two brothers, Stephen Earl and Daniel John Parker, and a sister, Beulah Alice Farnham.

Mrs. Bloom attended schools in Penfield, Ludlow and Rantoul. She graduated from the Burnham School of Nursing in 1942 and she was a nurse for Burnham City Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Champaign.
