Faye Hutts, 70, of Urbana passed away at 11:57 P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Champaign, Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Faye was born in Charleston Illinois to Carl Dee and Jimmie Lee (Grieves) Hutts. Faye and her two siblings moved with their mother after the death of their father to Urbana to live with their maternal grandparents Roy and Eva Faye Grieves. Upon the passing of her mother and beloved grandparents, Faye became one of the original residents of Steer Place in Urbana, where she lived for over thirty years.

Faye was a graduate of Urbana High School and a lifelong member of Webber Street Christian Church.

She is survived by her brother, Lee Hutts of Wilmington DE, sister-in-law, Martha, nephew Eric, niece Anna, and four great nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Garth of Los Olivos, CA and four nieces: Lisa Adams, Cammie Clark, Wendy Garth and Jennie Garth, six great nieces and one great nephew. Also surviving are cousins Steve Albrecht of Lexington, KY and Debra Albrecht-Medbury of Raleigh, NC.

Faye's dear friend and social worker, Sandy Dunn, has served her family as intermediary and Faye's advocate with such skill, kindness and devotion, we will forever be grateful.

Faye's journey taught her family and friends much about making an incredible life with whatever gifts God gives us. She was a loving sister, an adoring Aunt and a dear and loving friend. Her faith, resilience and resourcefulness were remarkable.
