Fae Elizabeth (Kiifner) Jackson, 89 of Urbana died at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jackson was born on May 8, 1923 in Villa Grove, the daughter of John Wesley Hill and Georgia Eva Mae Shafer. She married Albert C. Kiifner on May 16, 1944 in St. Joseph, she then married Charles Hugh Jackson on August 9, 1984 in Urbana; he died on March 16, 2011.

Also surviving are two daughters; Norma (Paul) Anderson of St. Joseph and Nancy (Dan) Edwards of Urbana, two sons; Albert C. (Yvonna) Kiifner of Mahomet and Allan (Kathy) Kiifner of Franklin, two brothers; George (Ann) Hill and Gene Hill both of St. Joseph, eight grandchildren; Lance Anderson of Champaign, Shane Anderson of Champaign, Jim (Andrea) Kiifner of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Kyle Kiifner of Chicago, Chad Kiifner of New Hampshire, Jennifer (Peter) Amberg of Hawthorne Woods, Michelle (Kurt) Frischkorn of Fairmount and Lorraine Edwards of Pooler, Georgia and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother; John Albert Hill and one sister; Margie Reynolds.

Mrs. Jackson graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a clerk in the Psychology Department at the University of Illinois.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Urbana, Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered at the Stevick Center, Champaign.
