Evelyn L Satterfield, 92 of Kingsport  Tennessee formerly of Champaign Illinois passed away on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Wexford House in Kingsport Tennessee.  Evelyn, who always went by her middle name Louise, was born in Bondville Illinois on February 23rd, 1929 the daughter of Leonard and Lela ( Cuppy) Watson.  On November 26th, 1952 she married the love of her life Burl J Satterfield in Urbana Illinois. Burl passed away on November 1, 2002.  Louise is survived by her son David and Carla Satterfield and Grandchildren Riley and Reagan, daughter, Karen and Jerry Highland and Grandchildren, Morgan, and Meagan. Great grandchildren Andrew, Lucas, Adalyn. Also survived by sister Reta Herron of Nashville. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Lela Watson, her Brother  Dale Watson, her husband Burl Satterfield,  and her grandson Patrick Bechely.  Louise was a longtime member of Philo Road Church of Christ in Urbana.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will always be remembered for wonderful kindness to others, and her sense of humor. She loved baking for friends, shopping, driving her convertible, playing golf, playing cards, and spending time with family. She recorded two hole in ones while playing golf in her life, her last one at the age of 89. Her love and her giggles will remembered forever.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM September 10th , 2021 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 Philo Road Urbana Illinois 61802. Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 prior to service. Pastor Richard Miller will be officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
