Evelyn Rose Craig, 76, of Mahomet, died at 2:23 p.m., December 20, 2011 at C-U Regional Rehab, Savoy.

Evelyn Craig was born August 28, 1935 in Monticello a daughter of Everett and Essie Weaver Welch. She married James Milton Craig May 1, 1963 in Monticello. He survives.

Survivors include 9 children, Bradferd Knop of Champaign, Nyra Miller of Tolono, Everett Knop of Mahomet, Brant Knop of Philo, Rodney Knop of Urbana, Twila Dodds of Denver, CO, Catherine Steele of Clinton, TN, Sarah Silva of Flowery Branch, GA, and Amy Marshall of Brownsburg, IN; a sister, Deanna West of Monticello; a brother, Duane Welch of Florida; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Craig enjoyed her children, her dogs, shopping, crafts, and decorating.
