Eloise Stirewalt, 81 of Urbana died at 3:55 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. Stirewalt was born on August 10, 1926 in Dillsburg, Illinois, the daughter of Wiley and Grace Hall Stirewalt.

Ms. Stirewalt graduated from Paxton High School and Champaign County School of Practical Nursing.

She was a retired LPN and worked for 20 years at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul in accounting and Finance.

Ms. Stirewalt was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rantoul, the Judson Baptist Church, Champaign and she enjoyed reading.
