Eloise Jane Kelsey 98 of Monticello formerly of Champaign died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Kirby Hospital, Monticello.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Rev. Ron Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Stearns Cemetery, Fithian. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelsey was born on January 11, 1915 to Gerard and Mabel Richards Condon in Oakwood. After Mabel's death in 1918 Gerard married Minnie Richards. She married Earl Kelsey on March 16, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri; he died on October 5, 1990. Survivors include three daughters; Janet (Tim Broadhurst) Ireland of Monticello, Linda (Lee) Rondenet of Elgin, Pamela (Tom) Packard of Walnut Creek, California, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Kelsey was a graduate of Oakwood High School.

She was an early childhood teacher.

Mrs. Kelsey was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Champaign.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Piatt County Nursing Home or Bible Baptist Church.
