Ellsworth A. (Lucky) Luckhardt, 88 of Urbana died at 5:45 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, the Rev. J. Kent Hickerson officiating, burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sidney. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Luckhardt was born on January 7, 1919 in Saline, Michigan, the son of Alvin Edward and Martha Susanna Ernst Luckhardt. He married Marjorie F. Wood on September 19, 1942 in Rantoul; she died on May 17, 2000.

Survivors include a son; Kenneth E. (Brenda Wall) Luckhardt of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a brother; Eugene Luckhardt of Saline, Michigan and a sister; Florence Lovelace of Saline, Michigan, two granddaughters; Tanya Luckhardt and Natasha Luckhardt.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Lawrence and Norman.

Mr. Luckhardt owned Lucky's TV and Radio in Urbana for 33 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WW II, serving in the south Pacific.

He was a member of Sidney Church of Christ. He enjoyed electronics, radios and model airplanes.
