Ellie J. Hart Tolono- Ellie June Hart, 72, of Tolono died at 8:10 A.M. Thursday January 25, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Monday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana, with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 P.M. The Rev. Jim Wheeler will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Urbana.

Mrs. Hart was born October 13, 1934 in rural Urbana Township, a daughter of Carl and Gladys Bielefeld. She married John L. Hart August 24, 1956 in Champaign. He survives. Also surviving are two sons John D. Hart of Tolono, Tim E. Crom of Tolono, a daughter Alissa J. Marcum of Tolono, two sisters Iris Dufour of Downers Grove, IL Carolyn Galitz of Fargo, ND and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two infant daughters.

Mrs. Hart was a member of the Tolono United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a foster parent to many children. Ellie worked part time for the News-Gazette for many years, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
