Elizabeth (Betsey) Cronan of Urbana died at 4:45 am, July 18, at home.

Betsey was born September 27, 1948 in Connecticut. She married John Cronan in October of 1973. He survives. In 1978, they moved to Urbana.

She is also survived by her two sons, Glen of Eugene, OR, Mark of Chapel Hill, NC and a sister, Pamela Warner, of Miami, FL.

After teaching preschool in both Connecticut and Urbana, Betsey pursued her passion for making pottery, first at Boneyard Pottery, later at her own studio, Griggs St. Potters.

The family will welcome friends to their home at 305 W. High on Wednesday, July 22 at 4:00 pm for a celebration of Betsey's life.
