Obituary

The Lord called Elizabeth Stirrat Brown Allan 93 of Champaign to her Heavenly home on Friday, September 25, 2009.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Willowbrook Cemetery, Fisher. Rev. Tim Barber will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Renner- Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Allan was born on April 25, 1916 in Port Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of John Luv and Elizabeth Stirrat Brown. She married Charles E. Allan on September 11, 1960 at Prospect Ace. Bible Chapel in Champaign, he died in September 1987.

Survivors include a cousin Matthew (Ruth) Lang of Glasgow, Scotland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and her sister Margaret Luv Brown.

Elizabeth came to America in 1922 residing in Detroit, MI, Fisher and Champaign; she graduated from Fisher High School and was a civil service employee at Chanute Air Force Base.

Elizabeth received Christ as her Savior in Detroit in 1932 and was baptized in Fisher. She was faithful in worship and fellowship for many years at Stratford Park Bible Chapel in Champaign and in recent years at First Christian Church in Champaign.

She was a member of the Bible Study Fellowship, enjoyed cross stitching and was a porcelain doll maker.
