Edward Allen Wells 70 of Urbana died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wells was born on June 10, 1943 in Loda, the son of Donald C. and Margaret H. Gharst Wells. Surviving are four son;, Brian Edward Wells of Tolono, Ronald Allen Wells of Urbana, Keith Alan Wells and Christopher Duane Wells both of Franklin, Kentucky, three sisters; Peggy Rascher of Florida, Crystal Ann Crum of Paxton and Jackie Wells of North Dakota, one brother; Donald S. Wells of Paxton and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Mr. Wells a truck driver for Road Max in Alsip.

He enjoyed crosswords, puzzles and his grandkids.
