Edna M. Steiner, 79 of Urbana died at 11:19 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Miss Steiner was born on April 15, 1928 in Buckley, IL, the daughter of J. Isaac and Mary Enz Steiner.

Survivors include two brothers; Raymond (Erma) Steiner and Laurence Steiner both of Cissna Park, three sisters; Helen Surber of Pekin, Velma (Jack) Meyer of Paxton and Lois (Gerald) Vogel of Champaign, several nieces, one nephew and special friend; H.D. Meyers of Urbana.

Miss Steiner was a telephone operator for Illinois Bell retiring in 1983.

She was a member of the Pioneers Club.
