Edna Leone Danner-Osborne

Edna L. Danner-Osborne 93, of Paxton died 9:40 P.M. Monday January 1, 2007 at Asta Care Center in Paxton.

Funeral Services will be private. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana is handling arrangements.

Edna L. Danner-Osborne was born September 23, 1913 in Metcalf, IL a daughter of Jesse Franklin and Fannie Pearl Smith Danner. She married Harry J. Osborne September 30, 1944. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Danner-Osborne was preceded in death by one son and three siblings.

She was a graduate of Lakeview Nursing School in Danville, and completed her nursing degree at Indiana University. Edna Danner-Osborne worked as a registered nurse at Carle Hospital for 22 years. She was also a Lt. in the Army Nursing Corps. during WWII. She was a member of the Lakeview Nursing Association and the Cissna Park American Legion.
