Doug Riney, 56 of Urbana, died Friday September 21, 2018 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.

Doug was the fifth child born to Harold and Betty (Malloch) Riney.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Betty Riney, wife, Brenda Riney, his brother, Mike Riney, three sisters, Linda Myers, Laura Riney, Carol Smith, niece, Jamie Davis and his much loved canine companion, Cody.

He had a lifetime interest in all vehicles and was able to fix and repair anything.  Doug was employed at Isotech Labs, Champaign for 16 years.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday September 28 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.  Rev. Richard McGuire will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
