Dorothy Hicks Hawn Logan, 68 of Tolono died at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, Pastor Tom Myers will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born on November 7, 1940 in Urbana, the daughter of Walter and Ruby Funkhouser Hicks.

Survivors include her significant other; Jim Houston, one daughter; Carol (Jim) Ross of Ogden, one son; David (Beth) Hawn of Bement, one brother; John Plummer of Tremont, three sisters; Violet Winslow of Rantoul, Delores Wimpee of Mobile, Alabama, and Edna Marcellus of Champaign, ten grandchildren; Angel Hawn, Kristi Cox, Blair Ross, Josh Hawn, Cody Hawn, Heather Ross, Miranda Hawn, Courtney Ross, Mackenzie Hawn, Hayley Hawn, nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; Russell Hawn.

Dorothy retired from retail sales.

She enjoyed puzzles, bingo and garage sales.
