URBANA, IL- Dorothy Marie Holloway, 95, of Urbana, died at 9:02 AM, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at her daughter's residence in Champaign.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 24, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Rev. Randy Gauger will officiate. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Holloway was born March 1, 1913 at Champaign, IL, a daughter of Walter and Grace Blackford. She married Vern Holloway on December 28, 1929. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1986. Survivors include two daughters: Mary Ann Klump of Robinson, IL and Verna May of Champaign, IL. 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Virginia Schmitt, two sisters and seven brothers.

Mrs. Holloway graduated from Champaign-Urbana schools and worked for the University of Illinois Housing Department for 15 years. She attended First Baptist Church of Champaign, Savoy, and she was a retired member of Local 119. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
