Dorothy "Dottie" Magdalene Gream of Urbana passed away at 6:54 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Provena Covenant Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana with Pastor Joyce Gibson officiating. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gream was born on May 7, 1940 in Kentucky, the daughter of Emmett and Evelyn (Compton) Robertson. She married John Robert Gream in Covington, Indiana on January 10, 1960; he preceded her in death on July 8, 1994. Survivors include one son; Brian Gream, of Urbana, two daughters; Joyce Rosenberger, of Urbana, and Pamela Sue Gream, of Tuscola, two sisters; Connie Smith, of Dallas, Texas, and Madelle Gibson, of Hoopeston, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers; Kenneth and Emery Robertson, and one sister; Hazel Bane.

Mrs. Gream enjoyed Illini Basketball and the Chicago Cubs. She was also an avid scrabble player.
