Dorothy J. Fetzer 82 of Champaign died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, December 25, 2009 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Dana Cemetery,

Mrs. Fetzer was born on December 24, 1927 in Kansas, the daughter of John and Mabel Barber Gaede. She married Don Fetzer on April 25, 1992 in Streator, he survives.

Also surviving are one daughter; Rebecca (Leonard) Wade of Champaign, one son: Richard Hayes of Champaign, one step-daughter; Patricia (Mark) Ferguson of Streator, two sisters; Ethel Weakly of Bloomington and Madonna (Carl) Klendworth of Dana, one grandson; Jason Evans of Castro Valley, California and one step-granddaughter; Nicole L. Wilson of Streator.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Mrs. Fetzer graduated from Dana High School in 1946.

She retired as a medical receptionist for Carle Clinic in Bloomington. She also worked for Bekins Moving and Storage, Rantoul.

She was a member of the Church of God in Dana, American Legion Auxiliary in Streator and the Eagles Aerie 645.
