Dorothy Faye Felkner, 82, of Thomasboro died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 2 at Country Health Care Center, Gifford. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, Pastor John and Pastor Susie Deeters officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign and visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Felkner was born January 5, 1928 at Urbana, the daughter of Robert E. and Goldie Clements Hendricks. She married Paul E. Felkner, Sr. on May 12, 1945, he survives. Also surviving are daughters; Lois (Doug) Reskey of Urbana, Rosemary (Floyd) Fisher of Champaign, Patty (Jim) Harris of Gibson City, Connie (Dave) Symmonds of Crystal Falls, Mich., Donna (Warren) Grob of Thomasboro, Linda (Jim) Slaughter of Hartselle, Ala., sons; Paul E. (Marcia) Felkner, Jr. of Champaign, Ronnie (Susan) Felkner of St. Joseph, sister; Alberta Louise Dalton of Urbana, twenty four grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.

Mrs. Felkner attended Perkins School, was a member of the Urbana Sportsman Club and enjoyed garage sales, NASCAR (her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon), country music and playing poker.
