Doris Jean Seth, 83, of Urbana passed away at 3:05 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m., with Pastors John and Susie Deeters officiating. Burial will be held at Eastlawn Burial Park in Urbana.

Mrs. Seth was born March 15, 1932 at Burnham Hospital in Champaign, Illinois to parents Emmett and Mabel (Weaver) Sadler. She married Clarence Edward Seth on March 2, 1951 in Urbana. He survives. Doris is also survived by her brother, Charles Sadler (Lois), of Fithian, Illinois, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces. Her beloved canine "child," Susie, also survives. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Sadler, and nephew, Robert Wayne Sadler. Mrs. Seth graduated from St. Joseph High School. She later began work as a seamstress at Collegiate Cap and Gown, where she worked for 26 years.

Doris attended the Ranch House Cowboy Church in Deland, Illinois with her family. She volunteered with Champaign County Nursing Home Auxillary and was a member of the Brookdale Urbana's Crochet Group where she and the other members crocheted items to donate to the Crisis Nursery. Doris also enjoyed vacationing in Florida with her husband, where they spent more than 15 winters.
