URBANA, IL- Doris Elizabeth Roedl, 75, of Urbana, died at 1:26 P.M., Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Manorcare Health Services, Champaign.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 708 W. Main St., Urbana, IL. Father Joseph Hogan will officiate. Burial will be held at St. Clare Cemetery, Altamont, IL. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Friday evening at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL.

Mrs. Roedl was born December 3, 1932 at St. Elmo, IL, a daughter of Henry and Edna Laux Cameron. She married Casper Roedl, Jr. on February 6, 1953 at Ft. Knox, KY. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2004. Survivors include; a daughter, Betty Ann Strom of Mahomet, IL and four sons, John Roedl of Texas, James Roedl of Mahomet, Jacob Roedl of Oak Park, and Jeffrey Roedl of Fisher, IL. 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. Two brothers, Frank Cameron of Shelbyville, Bill Cameron of Apple Valley, MN; two sisters, Shirley Schaub of Taylor Springs, IL and Cathy Grace of Evansville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Joseph Roedl, and a brother, Bob Cameron.

Mrs. Roedl graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1949. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, Urbana, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, cake decorating, writing poems and she was a Cardinal fan.
