Doris M. McPheter, 90, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Urbana, died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. Michael Smith will officiate and burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview.

Ms. McPheter was born June 4, 1921 in Urbana, the daughter of Harry E. and Pearl E. (Barnhart) Redmon. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Johnson (Richard) of Indianapolis, IN and a son, Robert McPheter also of Indianapolis, four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
