Doris J. Klapperich, 85 of St. Petersburg, Fla, formerly of St. Joseph, died July 22 in St. Petersburg. Graveside services will 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 27 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Mrs. Klapperich was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., the daughter of Herman and Violet (Steenberg) Slater. She married Delphin J. Klapperich Dec. 30, 1944 at Kalamazoo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1993. She is survived by three children, Arnold Klapperich, Aleta Brown and Anita Roberts. Mrs. Klapperich was employed by Peet, Hunt & Curzon and the University of Illinois.
