URBANA, IL- Doris Lilian Boren, 98, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 10:40 P.M., Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service(10:00-11:00 A.M.) at the funeral home.

Doris was born on January 23, 1917 in West Monroe, Louisiana, a daughter of Lee and Mary(Everitt) Watson. She married James A. Boren on December 7, 1934 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He preceded he in death on September 11, 1988. She later married Robert C. Clymer in 1994, and he also preceded her in death on August 6, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Woodcock(Robert) of Urbana, IL, and Evelyn VanLaningham(John Patterson) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Five grandchildren, Sandra Cooper(Phillip) of Urbana, IL, Leonard DeForge(Warren Wheatley) of Las Vegas, NV, James D. VanLaningham(Kathy Leonard) of Pittsburgh, PA, Tony VanLaningham(Kristina Raymond) of Hampton, N.J. and Nathan VanLaningham(Leslie) of Columbus, Ohio. 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive.

Doris was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.

Doris was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God in Danville, IL, and attended various churches in Urbana. She was an early and strong supporter of empty tomb.
