Donna Louise Ray, 85, of Eagle, Idaho died peacefully Monday, May 20, 2013

Donna was born April 13, 1928 in rural Shafter, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Grace Gordon. She married Joseph Wayne Ray on September 25, 1954. Donna received her high school diploma. She worked for Montgomery Ward as a bookkeeper. She also worked as a bookkeeper at Champaign County Bank & Trust for many years.

Her door was always open and her heart and ears available. Donna loved children, her family, friends, flowers, music, dancing and long drives through the country. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She will forever be remembered for her kind heart and smile.

Survivors include her "son" Rick Seymour and daughter Debra Ray Seymour; two sisters, Pat Garrett and Nancy Slaton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Mr. Ray.

A visitation will be held from Noon until 2:00 pm, Friday, May 24, 2013 with a short funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana, Illinois.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
