Donald H. "Bud" Wilson 86 of Champaign died at 3:57 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Services will be held at a later date. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wilson was born on October 18, 1925 in Champaign, the son of Albert and Alma Thompson Wilson. He married Juanita Rollins on December 6, 1947 in Urbana; she survives.

Also surviving are three sons; Terry (Carol) Wilson of White Heath, Robert (Gwen) Wilson of Danville and David (Candy) Wilson of Champaign, two daughters; Linda O'Dell of Champaign and Donna (Bruce "Bud") Mast of St. Joseph, one sister; Betty June (John) Wible of Urbana, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II.

Mr. Wilson was a self-employed carpet layer.

He was a member of the Northwest Christian Church, Champaign and the NRA.

Mr. Wilson enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
