Don Robinson, age 71 of Urbana, passed away at 2:15pm Friday (November 1, 2013) at the Piatt County Nursing Home. Memorial Service will be at 4:30pm Friday November 8 at Renner- Wikoff Chapel, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Don was born April 4, 1942 in North Carolina, a son of O.B. and Curtie Robinson. He married Sherrill Lynn of Urbana on November 12, 1960. Survivors also include three children and their families: Tina Robinson of Champaign and her two sons Brock and Ramsey McGraw; Tonya (Robert) Wood of Pesotum and their daughter Samantha. Troy (Cathy) Robinson of Urbana, and their son Cody and great granddaughter Alice. He is also survived by David and O.B. Robinson. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Donald Eugene, and three brothers: Dewey, Nelson and Jimmie Robinson and one sister Mae Koss.

Don worked for Meadow Gold Dairy for thirty-one years and was a long time member of the Teamsters Local Union 26. He loved the great outdoors and motorcycles; North Carolina seafood and Oakland Raiders football. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the benefit of the family.
