Donald E. Miller 69 of Pana went home to Jesus at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Prairie Rose Healthcare Center, Pana.

There will be no services. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Miller was born on November 28, 1946 in Mattoon, the son of Forest N. and Alice Rogers Miller.

Survivors include one brother-in-law; Mark Long of Paxton, two sisters; Shirley Watts of Cameron, Oklahoma, Pamela Long of Thomasboro, nieces; Chelsea (Billy) Glad, Hayli Glad, Denise (Billy) Colwell, Michelle and Heather, Sabra (Billy) Ross and Tony and Madison Long, nephews; Jason (Amanda) Watts, Jason, Rick (Pricilla) Watts.

He was preceded in death by a nephew; Brian Long.

Mr. Miller was a Christian.

He loved the outdoors, guns, knives, history and reading books.
